Welcome to pure paradise
Pandanus is located in the very center of Costa Rica, away from the tourist crowds and is embedded in the large “Finca FE” near the town of Quesada in the province of Alajuela. It is located almost at the end of the village of San Ramon on a hill with a magnificent view over the entire valley as far as the Arenal volcano. The province of Alajuela is located roughly in the middle of Costa Rica, about 45 minutes from La Fortuna.
Ideal location in the middle of Costa Rica
Our campsite is an ideal stopover on the journey through this magical country. Pandanus Lodge is located pretty much in the middle of Costa Rica, i.e. 1 ½ hours by car to the Nicaraguan border and 4 ½ hours to Panama. The quickest way to reach the sea is in Jaco 3 hours on the Pacific or in Puerto Limon 3 hours on the Caribbean.
You can easily reach the oasis from San Jose airport in 2.5 hours on well-maintained roads. You will find yourself surrounded by beautiful nature with palm trees, trees, ponds, flowers and native animals.
On the large private property “Finca FE” there are many opportunities for walks, picnics, jogging or meditation in beautiful places in nature. The adjoining river property can be easily reached on foot in 30 minutes on an easily accessible path and offers pure nature.
All around is dense, green vegetation and thanks to the altitude of 350 m above sea level there is always a pleasant breeze.
